// Daily consumerism rant

I wish phone companies allowed you to pick and choose your hardware and OS. So, I wish I had the hardware of the iPhone 16 but Android 14. This could be beneficial for people who like part of a phone but not the rest (looking at YOU, 🍎). I wish it was as simple as ordering a Chipotle bowl. You choose the body (iPhone 16, Pixel 9 Pro, etc), internals (how much storage, RAM, and what processor [iPhone or Samsung for example] you want), and you just choose your OS. Android, iOS, Windows, Linux, dumb phone, whatever you want! Switching ideally would be easy also. Just reboot and pick.

Can you be vulnerable and hard at the same time?

Why do we distract ourselves?

What are some practical ways we can be less distracted and more obedient?

How can we actually make God's love and kingdom known on earth?

(Partially funny) What is life? Like actually what is life? What was life like back near the start of creation?

What if everyone chose to be the opposite gender of what they are now? F->M and M->F. It would still go against God's word, but does his word specify defining characteristics of each gender? How weird would this be?

How do other people perceive the world?

How are certain combinations of letters illegal, or, at least, culturally unacceptable? How is talking illegal?

What does government help us achieve? Why can't everyone follow the commandments? The devil.

Why does there have to be a devil? Why can't we be like Omelas (minus the miserable child at its heart): prosperous, happy (but not vapidly), and secure?

What is earth?

Circling back to the beginning, what the actual refrigerator is life? Why here? Why now?

Are you supposed to not even think obscene words? What if you have an automatic replacement reflex? What if you don't tell anybody what the replacements are? What if you do? How can I test this? Find people who don't know me well, tell them the replacements, use the replacements and then ask how they felt knowing what I meant. To test it on people who don't know the replacements, if follow the same

// Thoughts

I'm never bored; just unenthused.

We only live 80-100 years. Years feel so long yet so short; how can I most optimally utilize the time given to promote the widespread adoption of His kingdom?

Crazy things happen everyday and you never hear about them.

Soup N' Fresh

I'm very, very, very small in comparison to the rest of the universe.

I have a purpose. I won't know it, possibly ever, but definitely not until it happens.

As a close friend once wisely told me: "those feelings (life is pointless and a waste) are always caused by tiredness, and even when i feel that way, i can still recognize that when ive had a good night's sleep and feel good generally, i dont feel so despairing and hopeless". Conclusion: I'm tired.

The friend also said: "my purpose isnt to feel good or be happy, or accomplish whatever i want to accomplish, its to follow jesus and tell people about him, so i do have a purpose, and even if i dont know what i want to do with the other parts of my life yet, those are less important anyway, and dont detract from the rest of my purpose, i have a hard time recognizing that in the moment." Very wise advice
